Kernun Protects Windows

12 Feb 2010

Kernun firewalls can prevent misuse of an extensive error in Microsoft Windows

While most computers all over the world have been in acute danger, companies and users who secure their networks with the Kernun firewall can stay calm. On February 9, 2010, Microsoft announced a long-expected fix of its previously reported extensive security problem that concerned all Windows operating systems, including the latest Windows 7. The updates included five critical patches.

Internal networks that are protected by the Kernun firewalls have been immune to attacks that make use of this error. The reason is that Kernun is capable of preventing the misuse of all weak points of the Windows operating system, which were marked as “critical” by Microsoft in the description of the problem, without any limitation of the legitimate traffic.

Kernun has thus repeatedly confirmed its position of a network solution highly stressing the security, in which security network elements are quite logically expected to enforce the security policy until the correction is published by the producer.
